Dear Mr. Pye,
This may come too late [after seven months- but I just saw yr message...]
Usually there is a gap between pulsed plasma nitriding and post oxidation, in which a 'plasma activation' stage is introduced -that's controlled sputtering to clean the surface so that the oxide film adheres properly. -maxbabi
We have carried out post oxidation immeditately after pulsed plasma nitriding in our homebrewed equipment and the results are excellent.
